Avon Bearings Corporation
produces large diameter bearings for a broad variety of applications.
Founded in 1969 as Formmet Corporation we changed our name to SIFCO
Bearings in 1981, and finally changed our name to Avon Bearings Corporation
in 1988. The bearings we manufacture range in size from 10 inches to 240 inches outside diameter. They are used in construction machinery, logging machines, aerial baskets, medical equipment, military vehicles, radar antennas, and a variety of industrial equipment. Bearings Quality program
meets the stringent requirement of ISO 9001:2000. Additionally, audits
are regularly conducted by both industry and government groups. Every
characteristic on all bearings is inspected and documented. Individual
inspection reports are maintained for every manufacturing operation as
well as the final assembly. All inspection is accomplished with modern
equipment specifically designed for our products. Avon turntable bearings are custom designed for a specific application. Our experienced technical professionals provide innovative solutions to the most difficult problems. |
